Hot Work is any action that produces heat or flames, Hot Work is responsible for causing many fires during construction and maintenance work.

Hot Work is responsible for causing many fires during construction and maintenance work. One of the most tragic was the Düsseldorf airport fire in 1996. The fire was started on an open roadway and resulted in damage in excess of £200 million, several hundred injuries and 17 deaths.
The famous fire at Windsor Castle was also caused by contractors undertaking Hot Work.
