Part of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that you have a responsibility to Instruct inform and train employees.

All lecture equipment, certificates, and fire extinguishers for the practical session will be provided.
A suitable room for theory training will be required.
A safe area outside will need to be identified for the practical session.

Fire reports state that fire extinguishers are rarely used and when they are, they are not very effective without the correct training.
