Fire Safety Training
Part of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that you have a responsibility to Instruct inform and train employees.

A typical Fire Warden’s course is as follows:
A 2 hour in house training course for up to 12 delegates which will cover the following subjects:
- The Fire Triangle
- How does fire spread
- The causes of Fire
- Types of Fire
- Fire protection & Fire safety measures
- Types of Fire Extinguisher
- What to do if you discover a fire
- Fire evacuation
- Fire safety film
- Practical use of fire extinguishers
All lecture equipment and fire extinguishers for the practical session will be provided.
A suitable room for theory training will be required.
A safe area outside will need to be identified for the practical session.
Fire reports state that fire extinguishers are rarely used and when they are, they are not very effective without the correct training.
